HLM Mortgage Blog

It has been a while since my last post.  The holidays always seem to be such a busy time and as I stop to reflect on the year that has passed, I ask myself several questions.  Have I accomplished all I set put to do this year?  Am I on track to meet my financial goals for the upcoming year?  What could I have done differently this year that I will do next?

2007 was an insane year in the mortgage industry.  Many lenders closed their doors and account executives I have spoken with daily no longer have jobs.  The types of loans available have all changed drastically and the mortgage industry climate is totally different than it was this same time last year.

I feel extremely lucky to be part of the HLM Financial Group family and to have clients who continually support not only our firm, but my efforts in the mortgage division.

In late 2007 we added Kathy Delbridge to our mortgage team.  I am thrilled to be ringing in the New Year with Kathy on board to help HLM Mortgage become the company I have envisioned for the past several years.

As I reflect on the past and look forward to the future, I want to thank everyone who has used our services.  I enjoy consulting clients on the best option for their mortgage needs and I look forward to being able to offer sound advice to my clients in 2008!
